Mmm... Emerald-Flavoured Darkling!

I hate getting stuck in the rain. And so does “D”, as we open the story with her trapped outside on a dark & stormy night. She knocks on the door of a home, asking to use the phone to call a cab. It turns out that the house belongs to a Mad Scientist, who was just in the middle of summoning a monster (the “Anti-Cthulu”) from another dimension. That’ll teach her to go knocking on stranger’s doors.
In the backup story, Prof. Helsinki tries to find proof that Vampires exist. Silly man.
Chris J. Powers has really hit his stride with this title.
